Food labels, this was the topic that was pushed this week in the lecture for the biggest loser group.  Reading food labels can be tough, companies often confuse the consumer so their product seems like a healthy choice.  (more…)

With a third of the program complete, many teams had their lowest weight loss total to date.  Though they are doing a fantastic job, it is a reminder that what they are attempting is something that takes full commitment 100 percent of the time. (more…)

This year’s version on Somerset’s Biggest Loser is underway!  Seven teams have begun the journey to a healthy lifestyle.  The teams are made up of husband / wife, mother / son, co-workers, friends, and one team that was paired together by the staff at Precision Fitness Center. (more…)

Anti-oxidants are important for fighting free radicals that are formed in the body.  Free radicals are products that are produced by the cells of our body when it uses oxygen.  Cells in our body need and use oxygen to break down fatty foods and when exposed to environmental factors such as tobacco smoke, pollution, and radiation.  (more…)
