Half way to go in the Biggest Loser IV contest, but it is only the beginning to a healthier life with the changes that these individuals are making.  The group had their mid-point weigh in, measurements, and body fat analysis completed.  To date, everyone is making progress in one form or another.  It is important to keep in mind that the weight gain did not happen overnight and thus it will not go away overnight.  A modest one to two pounds is the goal for healthy and long term weight loss.  After six weeks the group is at 181 total pounds lost.

Besides the mid-point weighing, the group had the opportunity to have their own dance party this week.  They were introduced to Zumba, the Latin rhythm class that creates a dynamic workout by mixing slow and fast rhythms to tone and sculpt the body while burning fat.  Thanks to Brenna for teaching the class which is offered on a regular basis at Precision Fitness.  Team Final Countdown won the weekly contest for the attending the most group exercise classes in the week.
